Mrs Rylands and Miss Penney
Hi, I’m Mrs Rylands, and I have been teaching at St John’s for the past 9 years. Throughout my teaching career I have taught in all year groups from Year 1 to Year 6.
I am the Deputy Headteacher and Curriculum lead and I also have a passion for continuously improving learning and teaching across the school.
I have a child of my own who is currently at university. I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the theatre.
Hello! I’m Miss Penney 👋 I’ve been teaching in Year 1 and Year 2 for five years and I love every minute of it. I’m also the school SENCo and I am passionate about supporting children with special educational needs so that every child feels happy, confident, and able to shine. In our classroom, we work hard, try our best, and have lots of fun learning together — with plenty of smiles along the way!
